Since it’s Christmas: Heike Hahn, 40, works in prototype production—and is giving away a special edition Tangente from NOMOS Glashütte.

»I can’t take any responsibility for extra pounds gained in the run-up to Christmas! But I am in charge of the baking. Every November I take two weeks off and bake cookies for my colleagues at NOMOS Glashütte. Yes, a whole two weeks! I need them to get all my cinnamon cookies, pistachio bites, and colorfully-iced cookies ready. I love working with my hands—in my free time as well. That’s why I’m glad that I didn’t become a technical illustrator in the end, which is what I had wanted to do for a long time. But then I would just be sitting at a computer all day. I wouldn’t like that. Being a trained watchmaker is a much better fit. And being a part-time baker too, obviously!

However, my present today is not cookies, but rather a watch for a change. Christmas is just around the corner, so we wanted to give away a very special gift and saved something for the occasion: a special watch that we produced a few years ago—actually only for us NOMOS employees. We gave it the nickname ‘fried egg’. So this watch is very rare and is, like my cookies, made with a great deal of love. Happy holidays!«

»A fried egg for Christmas!«

Too late, despite owning a good watch? Don’t be disappointed—you can find many more Tangente models here.
